Drumrolldrumrolldrumrolldrumrolldrumroll

Yello. We had a lovely time supporting the Allies yesterday, and got quite a bit of $cratch per capita which will be going towards some practicing and recording. Thank you to our loyal fanbase stage right, and everyone else who seemed to put their hands together for us LintheRs after every choon, of which Multisonti was especially storming. I spent so much time trying to remember all the lyrics to Anchorline Goodbye I forgot the words and music to our other keyboard ditty, Jersey. Doh. At least I remembered how to play happy birthday on guitar, as it was McAdams nineteenth. Once the wishy-washy sound was sorted the set went very well, featuring lots of drum rolls and noisy noise and structural oddities. The Allies rawked and rolled too, with their no-nonsense approach to....rawk and roll. Hopefully we will soon return the favour to them and have them playing before us at the Lamp Tavern, as well as Anubis, if only the man would hurry up and return them licensing form-malarkeys.

Speaking of Anubis, those boys have done damn good work at Magic Garden studios, but they're all shameless pimps so i'm not going to provide a link to their Overplay website ;). Hopefully CDs will materialise from both bands soon. Speaking of shiny goods, we sold 2 badges yesterday! Yaaaay. They are £1 each, and you get value for money as they're bigger than the average badge.

In other news, Senate Rebel [Popemobile Noise Version] is now up on our Birminghamusic.com website, click 'mp3s' to go listen. A prize for anyone who listens to it all at full volume. A Blizzard of 04 mp3 will be here as soon as Ummitgast gets down here and puts his lips to his harmonica.

Setlist:
  • Dolphin Song
  • The Approach
  • Blurry Life
  • Anchorline Goodbye
  • Jersey
  • Something in the Water
  • [PRpt4:] Force-fed Engines
  • Senate Rebel
  • Happy Birthday to Adam
  • Christopher Multisonti
Farewell to all ye people departing for Uni, see you soon.
