There's always trouble between little openings of paradises

Call it the eerie trappings of fate, call it coincidence, call it proof of The Land Beyond, any way you look at it, the Pope and the Popemobile EP seemed to have had an unfortunate symbiotic relationship. I awoke one morning last week to the news that Johnny boy has passed on, and my computer had too. Thanks to one mind-numbingly boring day all is restored now, sans the 70% complete POPEMOBILE EP! All that's left is the Dolphin song, the palimpsest rough mix bass and rhythm guitar track of the other 5 songs, and the deus ex machina that will probably strike again one day, perhaps when L Ron Hubbard dies his Scienteriffic death.

Oh well, you can't keep a Lady in a Radiator down (seriously, you can't, try it yourself) - we soldier on regardless. We're already on the way to re-recording stuff, and there is conversation of a live session at Ye Olde Rich Bitch floating in the ethers. Our hands have been busy as well as our lips (oo-er), and we have almost completed a rather lovely ditty by the name of Lillie Langtry, featuring nylon-tastic classical guitar, chamber pop-tastic organ synth (oo-er), and quiver-tastic vocals from bass maestro Prendergast. As well as making progress on Never a Childhood Pyromaniac, a song about traveling back in time to set animals on fire so a Spanish explorer gets what he is truly entitled to. Watch this space...

PS We are about 1 year old now. Hooray...
